The Illinois senator, who voted against the March 2003 war to topple Saddam Hussein, is in Iraq at a time when violence has fallen to a four-year low -- partly on the back of the controversial troop "surge" which he had strongly opposed.

Amazing.

He wasn't a U.S. senator in 2003 and therefore could not vote against the Iraq war.

Big-ears wasn’t sworn in until 2005. He has only been a Senator for a little over 3 years and over a year of that has been spent campaigning for POTUS.

Clarification: BHO wasn't a senator in 2003. He didn't vote for crap. He just says he was always against the war.
