Seriously Germany unified because there were germans on both sides. But Abkhazians and Osetians are not Georgians. Second thought Soviet Union went home not retreated and did it vouluntarily. I’m for one supported such move at that time. Today Russia in Abkhazia and S.OSetia by invitation of thier people so no reason to go home at all.
Still Akhazians and Osetians want Russian troops they will stay there.
