Some days it feels like it’s ‘You and Me Against the World,’ LOL!

I can’t let these Nattering Neighbobs of Negativity get me down. We win, either way. Either we have McCain in the White House, or we get to spend the next four or eight years poking these “Bobs” with a sharp stick because they sat on their hands in November, 2008. :)

I’m not trying to start a flame war, but do you REALLY think that if all the Freepers ran out en masse to vote for McCain it would be enough to tilt the election to him? If we were that powerful, Fred Thompson would be the nominee. I expect some real ugliness here in November if McCain loses, and it will totally uncalled for.

If you look at Rasmussen’s internals, McCain is winning a greater numbber of Republican voters than Obama is of Democrat voters. IOW, this election, like all elections, will be decided in the middle, not by Freepers and not by conservatives. If trends continue, the number of registered Republicans not voting for McCain will be too small to be determinative.

It may make some immature Freepers feel better if they can vent their anger on other Freepers who made a different choice, but the few Freepers not voting for McCain are not going to make a difference.

If you want McCain to win, it would be more productive if you threatened to poke a moderate with a sharp stick, especially in Wisconsin, a state McCain could win, but currently is not.
