It always seemed more than strange that McCain would want to have a reunion with his former captors - people who he said tortured him, and a friendly one at that. Recently Cindy went to visit Vietnam. Not the way a normal person would have behaved.

I am merely repeating what others have pointed out: Would a sane person want to hold a reunion with people who tortured him? Why did McCain refuse to press war crimes charges against his captors? McCain's attitude towards the families of POW and MIA was awful. If there is a good explanation I have not heard it.
