I’ve wondered the exact same thing. Are the greenies paid saboteurs to keep OPEC countries in control of the oil supply ?
The greenies have no effect in OPEC countries, after all — those are all monarchies or dictatorships that simply ignore or imprison anybody that protests against government actions. This means that OPEC countries could fund green groups anonymously so the environmentalists wouldn’t even need to know where the money came from be beholden to them. Ignorant dupes that can only do damage to your competitors ? Why not fund them ?
