Exactly how does an oil company harass a polar bear? Do they call it names and follow it around?
Because, if so, environmentalists have been annoying them for years and it hasn't made the news or taken a presidential decree.
And wind turbine operators have permission to shred birds but NOT to annoy Ted Kennedy by affecting scenery while he is sailing.

God, they must’ve run out of anti-Iraq war headlines so it’s back to headlines that don;t make sense.
Hugh Hewitt warned about this. Virtually any action taken by the federal government, including any kind of permits can now be challenged in court as “contributing to greenhouse gasses” with in turn are “killing the threatened polar bear”. They will start with attacking permits for oil, gas and coal production, and walk the dog back to any kind of human activity. The fools in the Bush adminstration had no idea what kind of Pandora’s Box they opened by listing the thriving polar bear as threatened.
Thank you for that reply. There are reliable studies on that very thing, something I was arguing about with the enviro-nuts since they always preach that EACH and EVERY birdie is important but no, when you have “PC Power”, it’s okay.
You’re supposed to prosecute, imprison and throw away the keys when someone is convicted of killing, no matter accidentally or not, some protected bird.

The polar bears have increased in number by 5 fold since 1972.
The ecofreaks just want to shut down oil drilling and exploration and they’re telling lies about the polar bear in order to do so.
