There's his problem. Chantix .... that's the way to do it. Of course you need to remain alcohol free, but he's a muslim. It should be easy for him.
No reason not to think McCain’s VP will have most of his positional problems. And really given the ages and histories of the two Obama is a lot more likely to be alive 8 years from now than McCain. Depending on his genetics the smoking might not seriously effect his life expectancy, he could always pull a Yul Brenner or Paul Newman (both of whom got well past normal life expectancy before developing cancer). McCain’s already been playing tag with cancer for at least 8 years.
Of course if you really want to take the grim view we’ve all got one foot in the grave, there’s only one way out. And all presidents are more at risk than the general population.

So I applaud his obvious sensitivity to one of the most abused minorities in our nation today -- the Smoker Americans. Available data indicates that Smoker-Americans comprise more than 20% of the US population, or did in the year 2000.
That would appear to make Smoker-Americans one of the biggest single largest minority groups in America, if not the largest.
Darn! I wish the empty suited Idiot would smoke 10 to 50 packs a day........ Heck, B.O. HUSSEIN could smoke a pack at a time in each of those Bozo Ears. That’s not my point - I was pointing out the double standard that the elites have toward themselves.
I do like your point though - “Yeah, I smoke, I know it’s not good for me, I don’t recommend it to anyone else, but I’m an adult, it’s legal, and it’s what I choose to do. Stuff it.”
How are the Marching Mommies going to keep their heads from exploding? On one hand they surge forward to have the Messiah (so called) bless their babies — and on the other they know in their hearts that if their kiddie sees a cigarette he or she will go straight to Hades in the nearest handbasket (which Obama probably has stacked up beside him.)
