The Muslim world was very weak in 1967 and even the left wing and liberals loved Israel when it won wars. In the chaos and triumphant celebration of the 1967 war no one would have noticed or done a damn thing if the Islamic mosques on the Temple Mount were blown up and carted to the landfill.
