Today, President Bush delivered the Commencement Address at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado. This was the 50th graduating class of the Academy. There was some rain during his speech. Following his speech, he posed and “cut up” with some of the graduates and you will love these photos. Transcript

The President then traveled to Utah where he will attend two fund raisers on behalf of Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz.

Everyone was having such fun even though it rained a bit.

God be with these fine young men and women who have chosen to serve their country in these times.

daisyscarlett: Thank you for posting the DOSE tonight — the President is never happier than when he gets to ‘hang out’ with his troops (and vice versa)!

MCCLELLAN — a soulless, spineless, now friendless LOSER of a human being!

MCCLELLAN’S MESS
By INVESTOR’S BUSINESS DAILY

The Presidency: We’re no longer surprised when a longtime confidant of a president comes out with a tell-all book. It’s almost de rigueur. What’s sad, however, is when so much of what the book tells is, in fact, false.

You can read the entire commentary here:

JOHN HINDERAKER (POWERLINEBLOG) SAYS IT BEST:
McClellan was a lousy press secretary. A much better spokesman, TONY SNOW, once told me that the best thing about his job was the opportunity to follow President Bush around and observe his conduct of the Presidency. Tony said that he came away with a deep appreciation of President Bush’s character, judgment and knowledge of the issues. Unless McClellan can come up with some facts to back up his claims—facts have been notably absent from the press accounts I’ve seen of his book—I think Tony’s assessment is considerably more reliable.

Thanks for your links, as always.

I liked the IBD commentary on that dweeb McClellan. I did hear that he had some nice things to say about W in his book but I have not heard them yet and they will not balance out all the lies this loser wrote.

My friend was rescued from Vietnam and made his way through France and was expected to stay there. He was offered the U.S. And accepted. His son is now to be an Airlift Command pilot. It’s quite a story.

He always came over as a mummy's boy to me occasionally I felt sorry for how he was treated by the press but he should have challenged them or even joked a little with them he just came over as someone unable to fight his corner so the fact that he has been manipulated by whoever regarding this book does not surprise me.
