Presidential candidate Barack Obama used a Florida fundraiser to attack conservative media personalities Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh for their militant stand on immigration policy.
Appearing Thursday at the Westin Diplomat near Fort Lauderdale, Obama lashed out at critics of illegal immigrants and migrant workers.
During his speech, Obama said, "A certain segment has basically been feeding a kind of xenophobia. There’s a reason why hate crimes against Hispanic people doubled last year.”
Who is behind the rise in hate crimes?
Obama left no doubt who he believes to be the culprits. “If you have people like Lou Dobbs and Rush Limbaugh ginning things up, it’s not surprising that would happen,” he told the crowd.
According to press reports, Obama collected more than $500,000 from some 800 donors at the event.

Barry has a set of stereotypes. And any middle aged white guy who speaks against him and for the middle class must be evil. But in Barry and his Uncle Jeremiah's and buddy Williams Ayer's speech, conservative is a code word for evil.
Obama vs. Limbaugh and Dobbs? Very presidential of the man to be going after private citizens.
Obama feels confident to attack Limbaugh because the mainstream media got his back.
In fairness, illegals would have to pay a fine and learn english, as well as work for certain number of years to become citizens, if I am not mistaken

Lou Dobbs is a law & order guy. He wants the government to enforce Federal Statutes because that is what the Constitution states our government should do.
He doesn’t hate anyone, supports legal immigration, and criticizes Mexico because of that nation’s hypocritical stance. Mexico funds hate museums within its borders, museums dedicated to spreading slanderous anti-U.S. propaganda.
Frankly I want him to keep talking about it. He is just about the only media outlet that will do so.
The irony is that legalizing Hispanic illegals will hurt no other group as much as blacks. Relegating them to insignificance when they fall as a percentage of the population into political oblivion.

IIRC, Lou Dobbs’ wife is a naturalized American citizen from MEXICO, d’oh, Ubama!! Don’t usually watch his show (can’t stand CNN) but would love to hear Lou’s response to this vicious attack on him by Ubama about illegal immigration!
