There were some long time posters who weren't terribly informed. They'd not bothered to watch the Warren Jeffs trial, nor had they independently informed themselves about how some of these groups can be incredibly brutal to children.

So, they took a narrow legalistic point of view and got fish slapped.

That's perfectly fair.

I think they're much more informed now.

Let us just hope it was ignorance. I live in Vegas where Jeffs was captured and have quite a lot of historical background. Of course, Jeffs and his groups whole purpose has been to obfuscate, so it is little wonder they have tried to make this a Constitutional isse rather than what it is, a human breeding farm experiment cloaked in supposed pastel normalcy.
