That is no counterproposal, it is the same process as was used in the Witcraft trials. What you are confusing is legal procedure with bad jurisprudence. If a true killer had gone through the witchcraft trial procedure, the result would have been the same and a murderer hung - a just result.
So that makes your postings lame, since you miss the point that making witchcraft illegal was the true problem, not the legal process.
So, are you saying in the FLDS case that child molestation and polygamous marriage of the underaged should be legal? Because the legal procedings seem to be proceeding with Texas mandated checks and balances.
All I’m saying is there appears to be another witchhunt being ginned up in this case. I know what they look like - I have lived over two years of the Duke Lacrosse Frame, every day.
Maybe criminal acts took place in Texas. Maybe not. But I’m pathologically terrified of allowing Government to circumvent the law and the constitution because you say you can tell who are witches just by looking at them.
