I did a bit of Googling for internet freedom in PRC. There are evidently some apps that can break through the Great Firewall. So we well may have seen some genuine honest to God Chinese posting; and not party hacks.

If this is indeed the case, I apologize for any offense that my posts brought to anyone on the thread.

I’m in agony over these poor people. And the Burmese, too, Good God.

If you read the .cn thread, it’s kinda evident that we weren’t blocked, but now we may be.

OTOH, could FR handle 50 million hits if the (mistaken) word gets out over there that we have better news than they do?

However, none of the neoChis were begging us for news about the quake- notice that?
