I’ve already checked on the price! The bottle that will ultimately filter 6000 liters is 250+ British Pounds and the one with the smaller ultimate capacity costs 150 Brit Pounds.
We’ve already decided that we want to get one when they become available over here.
Provided the junta there lets 'em into the country.
The LifeSaver Bottle is now available in the US through HALO Trust International, exclusive US Distributor, at www.halotrustgear.com.

thanks for the link - looks like a winner of a product
US$488.10 Approx
There are plenty of filters on the market that don’t cost nearly that price...so why this one?

That is a bit pricy if LucyT’s number is correct - let us know if other products can meet the pathogen log removals of this product - thanks
Thanks so much for the info. This sounds like a life saving device, if ever I’ve heard of one! We plan to add it to our emergency gear.

I’d like to see more studies about the effectiveness of virus removal.
I got a ceramic type backpacking filter combined with a carbon filter. It was about $80 I think at REI, used for backpacking. Perhaps a little more complicated than just pouring into a bottle, but still, all you have to do is pump it.
And as of now, there is a powder that is used by the military that will make water clean, and it is being used on emergency situations as well, but is not on the public market - it is made by Proctor and Gamble.
You can grab water from a mud-puddle in a road and get it clean just by adding the powder. I seem to recall soldiers even adding it their pee and making it clean!
ping.

You mean the millions of people using all those other products are getting sick?? I don’t and I pay $65 for my filter.
This thread sounds like pure advertising,
This is from the link at 15:
Q. Can it convert urine into drinkable water?
A. LIFESAVER bottle will remove microbiological contamination from water. As such it will remove viruses/bacteria from urine. It will not however remove the salts that urine contains.
