On the Yahoo Answers board, the leftists are already responding to this with “But the US temps aren’t GLOBAL temps...this is GLOBAL warming.”
These people are hilarious.

Simple explanation: Global cooling is hiding global warming.

Of course this is explained by global warming theory.
In fact, everything is explained by GWT.
Astrology, crystal balls, palm reading; You name it and GWT surpasses them all.

It’s something of a stretch to say that 29th out of 114 is one of the coldest ever. ‘Specially since there may have been a lot of colder and warmer ones prior to 1895.

I just happened to look at my energy bill last night and it had a chart that shows how much gas/electricity you used for the current month last year compared to this year so you know if you used more or less. It also shows the average temperature for the same (April 2007 vs. April 2008). I live in Western WA. State and the average in April 2007 was 48 degrees. The average this year was 41 degrees!!! I would usually see a zero or one degree difference, but 7 degrees, that is HUGH!!!

As a side note to a cool April, note that the Argo System (ocean temperature probes) has actually showed a slight decrease in ocean temperatures, ocean temperatures being a major indicator of global warming if it was actually happening, over the last several years.

Along with those colder than normal temperatures, April 2008 was dry - the 54th driest on record.
So this was the 54th driest April on record....54th out of 114. Or put another way, this was the 60th wettest April on record.
54th driest. 60th wettest. If I had been writing this article, I might have said the moisture had been close to normal...
