If the shoe fits ................
Stick to your guns, Mac.
Christians need to demand that muslims shut up and keep their so called religion in the middle east where it belongs.
Well, we certainly don’t want to make the Mooselims angry. A happy Mooselim is a ...okay, there aren’t any. Never mind.
PC has run amok - I’d bet money that this gets “rethought” by McCain at some point - wouldn’t want to be “divisive” or fail to “celebrate our diversity” blah blah blah.
Islam belongs to the place where it originated from... Hell. The Middle East is a wonderful and rich region which ought to be freed from this scourge.
Calling these folks “Islamic terrorists” is accurate not because they are Moslems (in which case the protestors would be right), but because they are executing their terror in the name of Islam. If someone who was Christian commited terrorism because they wanted to secede from the U.S., then it would be improper to call them a Christian terrorist. But if they committed their acts because they thought that the U.S. should be governed by a Christian theocracy, then the label “Christian terrorist” would be accurate.
> Mr. Fareed, a former associate professor of Islamic
> studies at Wayne State University
How many professors of Christian studies are there at Wayne State University?
I have a strong hunch that it’s *ZERO*
It is forbidden for a muslim to criticize the faith of another muslim...
Calling them something else won't change the fact that they are committing violent, terroristic acts in the name of Islam. Sure, it is a problem for real Muslims, but changing a name won't help. You want to help? Then do something to stop them from twisting and perverting your religion in the name of some sick power grab by sociopathic Imams. I believe Islamic law strictly forbids making war on innocents, non-combatants, particularly women and children. So tell me how their indiscriminate bombings in Iraq are justified? Short version, they aren't and cannot be squared away with real Islam. These people are perverting and hijacking your religion to the point the rest of the world may soon decide to outlaw it. You had better do something fast to reclaim it and salvage it, if you can.
Stick to your guns Mr. McCain, call it like you see it.
> Mr. McCain often uses the term “Islamic” to describe terrorist enemies. The two remaining Democrats in the presidential field, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York, generally shun such word usage.
And there you have, in stark contrast, the difference between a Wartime Presidential Candidate, and War Wimps. Barney the Purple Dinosaur is a Democrat.
> “I think this is just criminality, fair and square. We should just call them criminals. You want to call them terrorist criminals, fine,” he said. “But adding the word ‘Muslim’ or ‘Islamic’ certainly doesn’t help our cause as Americans. It’s counterproductive. It paints an entire community of believers, 1.2 billion in total, in a very negative way. And certainly that’s not something that we want to do.”...
All 1.2 billion Muslims are complicit in the war crimes of the Muslim Terrorists because they refuse to denounce their activities and clean their own house. It is the Muslims that are giving aid and comfort to Osama bin Laden, it is the Muslims that are propping up the government in Iran, and it is the Muslims who are causing problems in Iraq. Muslims. Islamic Muslims. All of that could stop in an instant if 1.2 Billion Muslims decided “enough!”
Until then, all Muslims are Terrorist sympathizers.
If there were Irish terrorists, or Mennonite terrorists, or “typical white person” terrorists that were trying to destroy our country,
I’d expect them to be called such in conversations about them.
Excellent post!
“forbidden” as in “you’ll lose your head if you do”.
