Well, the Church set the limit so you had to wait until a child was “out of the cradle” before marrying her. Then it was set at 7 years old for a while.

It’s kinda scary when you dig into some of the things the Christian Church did in the dark ages.

The Church left the Dark Ages; and you might want to check around to find the non-Christian practices as well.

Not all of these people have left the Dark Ages -- and in fact, it looks like they are bidding fair to bring them *back*.
