Who are you going to believe - man or God?

There won’t be any Cardinals or Popes there when you stand before The Judge.

Do you deny that Mary the Mother of Jesus was a virgin?
If so then you better brush up on your New Testament. LOL
Try these for starters: Matthew 1:18-23 and Luke 1:26-34

cyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

“Do you deny that Mary the Mother of Jesus was a virgin?”

No. I’m a believer. I didn’t word my original comment correctly. It should have said “Mary and Joseph had kids together after Mary bore Jesus by the fatherhood of the Holy Spirit, not Joseph.” Mary was certainly a virgin when Jesus was born but certainly not after all those other children, mentioned in Mattew 13:55

Where, precisely, are Jesus’ brothers described as Mary’s sons? Why does St. John take charge of Mary at the Crucifixion if these numerous other brothers remain?

Why precisely, does one suppose that Adonijah was condemned to death for asking for the hand of Abishag in marriage.

Why did Adonijah ask Bathsheba for Abishag’s hand, does one suppose?

Sorry, that first part should be a question:

“Why precisely, does one suppose that Adonijah was condemned to death for asking for the hand of Abishag in marriage?”

Final question: what koine word was used at the time of the Evangelists for “stepbrothers?”

but certainly not after all those other children?"mentioned in Mattew 13:55

"the 'brothers of Jesus' are neither the sons of Mary, nor the brothers of Our Lord in the proper sense of the word, but they are His cousins or the more or less near relatives. [70] The Church insists that in His birth the Son of God did not lessen but consecrate the virginal integrity of His mother (Secret in Mass of Purification). The Fathers express themselves in similar language concerning this privilege of Mary. [71] http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/15464b.htm

I would just like to say that those who change the word of God are cursed. The men who wrote these things are in Hell. - Rev. 22:18

Judge not, lest you be judged...

I’m not cursing anyone. The Lord has already judged those men who twist and hack up the word of God. I’m just a reporter warning everyone not to do that, and to report what happens to those who do.

Jesus took my judgement for me, and I rest completely in Him who is The Word.

You can dance around the issue all you like BUT

you said “The men who wrote these things are in Hell”

Now, I don’t know who you think you are but you’re in no position to be saying who is in hell and who isn’t. PERIOD

Class dismissed.

Now quit bothering me with your posts...

I refuse to admit that the translators of the King James Version were condemned to hell simply for their simplistic translation of adelphoi.

Be careful what you twist.

Anyone who proof-texts from translations barely deserves a sidelong glance.

“Anyone who proof-texts from translations barely deserves a sidelong glance.”

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. “ Psalm 12:6,7

God said this, being fully aware that paper would crumble away in less than a century. I believe the words of The Lord God who made Heaven and earth. Who do you believe?

It is our belief that this will happen not through the direct teachings of Christianity, but through a summoning of the Moslems to a veneration of the Mother of God

For the longest time I though that the major world religions would unify through the charismatic movement; whose major tenant is tongues. Ignore all doctrine differences ... if you speak in tongues you are baptized by the Holy Spirit and that is enough common ground to unify. But I always wondered how the largest religion in the world (Muslim) would be assimilated into the world church.

It appears Catholics have found the common ground that could make this happen.

“It appears Catholics have found the common ground that could make this happen.”

Well, it remains to be seen and it’s gonna probably take a miracle from the Virgin Mary Herself to convert the Muslim terrorists. LOL

But I did find it interesting that there was & is such a special relationship between Muslims, the Koran & the Virgin Mary.

Fine, but the words in question are: ἔτι αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος τοῖς ὄχλοις ἰδοὺ ἡ μήτηρ καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ εἱστήκεισαν ἔξω ζητοῦντες αὐτῷ λαλῆσαι. Not the words which the translators of the KJV imposed on the text.

Recently, a car bomb was exploded in front of St. Mary’s Church in Zeitun.
