I HAVE A CONFESSION TO MAKE

Posted on 04/03/2008 12:56:59 PM PDT by YoungBlackRepublican

I am a conservative who has been living at the website democraticunderground.com. Why? Cause it's like watching a car crash in slow motion. It's WW3 over there and I can't stop visiting, looking, and laughing at those guys over there. Do I need help? Or is my "Schadenfreude" ok. I mean we are talking about Dems here...lol

ever noticed that they have to swear and call people names all the time

as for them saying about people who have voted for her then I thought the dems want all the votes counted and that everyone has a right to vote

seems the dems are using their dirty tactics of name calling etc to each other

yep their chickens have come home to roost

Naw I don’t post there. I just read and laugh. Oh and sometimes I shake my head at the wacked out crazy views on life and America. Hell, most of those guys over there actually AGREE with rev Wright. I can’t believe it...then again I can. It’s like Chris Plant said all they do is Change the Subject and Attack.

I haven't been to DU in a few years, but I know what you mean. I have never enjoyed an election season as much as I'm loving this one, and it sure isn't because of Senator McCain. Watching the Clinton/Obama race is, for me, like watching the Tigers win the pennant...every single day.

I don't even miss Terry MacAuliffe anymore! God bless them dems!!!

“I know where to get them.
I guess you don’t need info like that? lol”

Well, I do not need any, as I am a charter member of PJ's DUmmie Funnies.
He disinfects all the DU slime.

Hey Reagan was my favorite president of all time. IMO he’s done so much good for this country too bad these damn Dems are trying to reverse the good he did. But I digress

Another title to a thread threre for you amusement is titled:

“Obama: ‘Democrats have to say, Even though I’m a progressive, I believe in being practical’”

At a Tuesday town meeting in Scranton both sides of the equation came together when a man with a booming voice asked Obama how he could reach out to Republicans while remaining true to his political values.

Obama’s answer offered a glimpse of how the candidate has clearly thought about retooling his rhetoric to highlight centrist themes. After first deriding George W. Bush for nearly doubling the national debt, Obama declared, “The Republicans are susceptible to a message that says, ‘We’re going to restore a sense of fiscal responsibility and a sense of modesty in our foreign policy ...’ And Democrats have to say, ‘Even though I’m a progressive, I believe in being practical.’”

Speaking to a state AFL-CIO convention Wednesday morning, Obama momentarily silenced the made-in-America union movement with the declaration, “If we’re completely honest with ourselves, we have to acknowledge that we cannot completely stop globalization.” But Obama also tried to add a populist edge to his speech with the frequent use of the verb “rigged.” Harking back to his days as a community organizer in Chicago, Obama said, “The reason that I am standing here out in front of you is because I don’t want to wake up one morning six years from now and discover that the system is still rigged against America’s families.”

I don’t want this guy anywhere near the White House. I wouldn’t let him mow the damn lawn. Look at the way he thinks...look at the way he views the world.....

The ironic thing about MoveOn.org is that they were founded stop Clinton’s removal from office - which ultimately doomed Al Gore’s run for the presidency.

Someone from FR who has been posting on DU needs to start a rumor that Rush's Operation Chaos is just a cover. What the evil Republicans are really doing is secretly funding Obama’s campaign to defeat Hillary before the general election. You know just stur more chet.

I fear they will. Liberals are, fundamentally, fascists. Fascia is the Italian word for sheaf. Their theory holds that they cannot be broken if there are so many of them - mob rule. So, they will stick together, unite and vote for their nominee, whoever it is. Only a few blank sheets will break away from the sheaf to not vote.

That so-called “Vietnam Vet” probably couldn’t find Vietnam on a map with written directions. I did career counseling for fellow veterans for over 12 years, and I can’t recall EVER talking to a liberal.
