WOW....it is amazing what they can fit in those cargo planes! Man....look at the gauges on the Flight Engineer's panel. Amazing! Thanks, CVV, for your service to our country. Your welcome. Saw a lot of the Pacific in one of those; almost every country in Far East and South East Asia and beyond.
It was considered big then, but could only carry one tractor trailer, 200 troops, etc., as opposed to (I believe) 6 greyhound buses and nearly 300 troops in real seats, in today's C-5 Galaxy.
