Yea Right, April Fools.. Look at the photos they are doctored. There are too many clues to indicate this is a joke.

Don’t listen to these skeptics. Do you think they’d let it on the Internet if it weren’t true?

Well, what do you think? :) Look at the date of the article - should be enough to answer your question. Funny though!

Take a look at those fat birds and their wings - they couldnt fly unless you strapped rocket motors to their backs."VOOM"?!? Mate, this bird wouldn't "voom" if you put four million volts through it! 'E's bleedin' demised!

Flying penguins is old stuff. During and after the Falklands war groups of penguins would wander into a minefield and er fly so to speak, giving rise to the riddle:
Whats black and white and red and flies once?
Answer:
Penguins in the Falklands....

they couldnt fly unless you strapped rocket motors to their backs.
That's not to say it hasn't been tried!
Witness the evil "Batman Returns" megapenguin!!
Okay, okay, so they were *carrying* the rockets for launch, not using them for flight propulsion. But, a little superglue potentially provides a repurposing of the penguin (as it were). I, for one, believe the idea has merit!
