? They all lie and don’t care if we find out. They know that their followers will make excuses for them and they’ll just go on. Maybe we should just go back to having a king and get it over with.

A year ago, Barack Obama addressed a group in Selma, AL commemorating the 1965 voting rights march. He credited the event with giving his parents the idea that they could have a child. The result was him--Barack Obama, Child of Destiny. The only problem is he was born in 1961.

“So the Kennedy’s decided we’re going to do an air lift. We’re going to go to Africa and start bringing young Africans over to this country and give them scholarships to study so they can learn what a wonderful country America is. This young man named Barack Obama got one of those tickets and came over to this country. He met this woman whose great great-great-great-grandfather had owned slaves; but she had a good idea there was some craziness going on because they looked at each other and they decided that we know that the world as it has been it might not be possible for us to get together and have a child. “

Looking for a fact check on this one.

What gave his father the idea to abandon the child

PBS recently aired a documentary about the critical role American Jews played in the civil rights movement. They gave their money, sweat, blood and freedom. Once LBJ signed the Civil Rights Act—which southern white Democrats fought tooth and nail—black civil rights leaders distanced themselves from Jews. Hate-mongers like Rev. Wright, and cheap politicians like Obama, forget if there weren't American Jews there would have been no Selma.

A year ago, Barack Obama addressed a group in Selma, AL commemorating the 1965 voting rights march.
So I think I can assume that he knew he was speaking at the commemoration of the 1965 voting rights march and I can also assume that he knows he was born in 1961. I guess that means he's an outright liar. I wonder if mom and dad took any sniper fire over that decision to have him?

Did anyone happen to catch Rove on Greta last night? He was awesome! He a had a litany of lies that Obama has told on the trail. They just rolled off of Karl's tongue. Me thinks he has these committed to memory for the fall!

Here is a speech in Selma.
To me it is the same as all his other speeches, since first listening to his speeches. It is like all he is talking to is black people. Told this to my hubby when he first announced his candidacy, huh, maybe its me.

“be possible to get together and have a child.” That pretty well sums it up. BO himself says that there does not appear to have been a formal marriage and other researchers have been unable to find a marriage certificate. That’s good; otherwise, it would have been bigamy since BO Sr. already had a wife in Kenya.

There was something stirring across the country because of what happened in Selma, Alabama, because some folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born. So don’t tell me I don’t have a claim on Selma, Alabama. Don’t tell me I’m not coming home to Selma, Alabama.”
This is the text of his speech taken from his website. So it is clearly another “mis-speak”.
