Not only for Obama but for the whole congregation. The people must be real foos and followers, with a thought of their own to listen to this guy. No wonder they live in poverty.

No wonder they live in poverty.

What poverty? This is a pretty affluent congregation.

Pop some popcorn, open a cool drink, relax in an easy chair, put the remote in your hand, and enjoy. Its going to be a great ride.

Wright very well might be a product of, instead of a cause of, the problem.

The victimhood mentality has been engrained and perpetuated by leftists in order to maintain their power.

Even if Wright never said another word before November, there are still a HUGE number of leftists out there that believe exactly as he does, and Wright’s exposure just allowed them to come out and tell us.

Do you think the majority of “white Americans” realized how much this community despises, resents, and yes, hates us?

Shocked, shocked I tell you! Seriously.

It isn't just Obama's congregation. There are many black as well as white congregations who display similar responses to nonsensical statements. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with raising hands and congregational praise but it's enthusiastic response to unorthodox nonsense that is troublesome. This kind of empty-headed emotionalism is dangerous. And the trend to react emotionally and not rationally has infected our entire cultural. Having gotten that off my chest, the Rev.White's remarks were off the charts and Obama knew it.

I am not sure they do live in poverty. My impression is that Trinity is a congregation of generally fairly wealthy black Chicagoans. If I am wrong, I would appreciate being corrected by someone who has actual familiarity with the congregation.
