His race gives him a lot of cover on that count. See the David Paterson case in New York (he's the new governor who had piles of sex and financial scandals come to light within hours of his inauguration, but nobody is talking about having HIM resign) as a perfect case in point.
I wish we had a candidate...
Soros et.al. will let you know who McCain's VP is in due time. He would NEVER leave a choice like that up to his tool McCain or the liberal Republicans.
I don't pretend to know all the ins and outs, but it seems like a "my way or the highway" situation on both sides. I did not like this primary season. I thought it was way too front-loaded.
Looks like the Dems are stuck with a guy who was not thoroughly vetted. Had the primaries taken place later, the opportunity to smoke-out the associations of all the candidates would have come earlier, and none of us would be enduring all this rancor.
Halperin is the one who sent out the email to ABC News employees that republicans / Bush didn’t have to be covered equitably in the 2004 election.
So Markie’s sidling up to Obama-lama-ding-dong eh? The Clintoon’s are losing the drive-bys, who’ve finally picked up on the fact that the voters are sick of political family dynasties, whether they are named Clinton or Bush.

Their only problem with voting McCain is that he’s pro-life, but they said they’ll hold their noses.
Pop some popcorn, open a cool drink, relax in an easy chair, put the remote in your hand, and enjoy. Its going to be a great ride.
The Marxists’ longterm goal is to cause chaos and fomenting anger that divides the American people and weakens the U.S. to the point of implosion. You may very well be right about Wright.
She sure got skunked out of that one, didn't she?
The article portrays this as skilled maneuvering on the part of Team Hussein but it seems pretty easy to me to just not say "yes".
Exactly!
I still believe that on election day Hillary will be the Democrat nominee.
Obama may get the nomination but before election day he will committ suicide, be killed in an airplane crash, of have a fatal accident.
And Hillary will come to the rescue.
In New Jersey the Democrats demonestrated their prowness in substituting candidates.
Supreme court Justice for Her UN ambassador for Bill And Internship in White House for Chelsea
I get this feeling that McCain is going to pick a nob nibbler
I get the feeling it will be Lieberman.
