As a prominent evangelical pastor based in San Antonio, you were recently catapulted into national controversy when you endorsed Senator John McCain for president. Is it true that McCain actively sought your endorsement? Its true that McCains campaign sought my endorsement.
How did you feel when critics called you a Catholic-basher and said McCain should reject your endorsement? My statements regarding the Catholic Church have been grossly mischaracterized. I never called the Catholic Church the anti-Christ or a false cult system. I was referring to those Christians who ignore the Gospels.
What about your observation in a recent book that most readers will be shocked by the clear record of history linking Adolf Hitler and the Roman Catholic Church in a conspiracy to exterminate the Jews? What I was trying to express was the fact that Christian anti-Semitism both Catholic and Protestant contributed to an environment in which Nazi racial anti-Semitism could flourish.
But why bring all of that up now? Cause most of the world dont know it. Christians dont know it at all.
Two years ago, you founded Christians United for Israel , an influential lobbying group that has won accolades from many Jewish leaders. Im trying to do something beneficial for the state of Israel and the Jewish people. Its the right thing to do. If you take the Jewish contribution away from Christianity, there would be no Christianity.
Thats a touching sentiment, but some are concerned that the Zionism of American evangelicals stems from self-interest. Isnt your involvement in Israel based on a desire to speed the second coming of Jesus? Our support of Israel has nothing to do with any kind of end times Bible scenario.
Youre not just sitting around waiting for the Rapture? No.

Let me ask you a question, actually four:
[1] Why, when you asked me the first question, and I gave you the answer, you embarrassed yourself in public by hurriedly changing the subject to “trucks”?
[2] Why would an unserious, one-armed boat-rower such as yourself, expect me to answer any more of your red-herrings?
[3] Did you see that video I linked you to where Hagee attempts to teach people that Jesus wasn’t able to FINISH his work on the cross (as Messiah/Savior) because he was thwarted by a “plot” of mere men?
[4] Who, other than biblical illiterates, would give a heretic who preaches a false gospel, the time of day?
I posted the truck reply to the wrong thread. My mistake, shows I'm only human.
Yes I did, I also remember Rev. Hagee explaining and apologizing for it. Seems he made a mistake too, shows he too is human.
Who do you say Jesus is?
or
What do you say one has to do to be saved?
Either one will be fine.
No kidding? In what thread was someone talking about a truck holding 300 gallon selling for $1,200?
deuteronlmy232: "Yes I did, I also remember Rev. Hagee explaining and apologizing for it. Seems he made a mistake too, shows he too is human."
As you know, he has NOT explained it, nor apologized for it. All he did was perform a tap-dance for biblical illiterates who don't know any better, and don't care.
He knows that the reason they don't care that he preaches a false gospel is because he agrees with them on the stuff that is of most importance to them - their "end-time prophecy" beliefs.
Now, about who you say Jesus is and what you say a person must do to be saved. Such simple questions for a Christian to answer, one that a Christian would or at the very minimum should look forward to answering, but you seem so reluctant. Why is that?
It has only been since when the call your name and info in, they get information on if you have a license to carry a concealed weapon or not. Knowing they are the only ones with a gun makes some people very brave.
Jesus is (and came to be) the Messiah - the King who came to save his people from their sins, and was not stopped by a "plot" that prevented him from accomplishing what he came to do.
Christ did not voluntarily lay down His life until He had accomplished the work which He came to do, and with His parting breath He said, "It is finished." John 19:30.
The "Good News" (ie: The Gospel), is TOTALLY focused on the "FINISHED" work of the Savior (Messiah) on the cross.
If you think Hagee believes that that is the Gospel, you are sadly deluded. He SPECIFICALLY believes that Jesus was prevented from being the "Messiah" because of a "plot" of mere men.
In NO WAY has he backed off of that false Gospel. Wake up!
OK. You convinced me that you really were confused between a trucker thread and a religion thread. :)
Ok. Looks like your confused again. You quoted me as if I wrote what you posted. Is all this “confusion” merely the result of you “just being human”, or is your problem a little more profound?
See #130 and stop trying to change the subject.
The subject is Hagee and the fact that he preaches a false gospel which denies that Jesus came as our Messiah and succeeded in finishing the work his Father gave Him to do.
He was not prevented from finishing it by some plot Hagee learned about from the voices in his head.
When you answer my questions we can talk again till then, you seem to be nothing more than a Hagee hating trouble maker.
I was out of the boat you’re rowing a long time ago.
