They are going to need extra $$$$ to clean up and rebuild after the riots. ;-)

Fund riot control. Everything else will take care of itself.

Democrat politicians will use their people and take all the money they can get. Hopefully, the people see this and now know what is going to happen to their taxes. Democrats will raise their taxes to the point the people will go broke and then they will have control of them. How much more will they put up with?

Denver short on funds for Democratic National ConventionI am sure they'll just raise taxes to make it up.

The libs will make sure ALL of the taxpayers cover any funding gap. It’s their answer for everything.
I live in the Denver suburbs and don’t plan on going anywhere near downtown that week.

"Our strategy," committee spokesman Chris Lopez said in a statement, "is to raise as much money in the months leading up the convention as we can."
No, that's your goal, not your strategy.

Denver must raise $40.6 million by June 16 for the party's Aug. 25-28 convention. This week, the host committee missed its second fundraising deadline What are the consequences of missing these "deadlines"???
Oh, right, dumb question, excuse me.

At least the electrical bill won't be so bad. With all of the fires from the riots, there will be plenty of light.
Pending doom was never so sweet,,
The DNC could feel it, even before they could meet,
Between a bigot and a pathological lier,
The convention, would soon be a ball of fire!
***
Our whole town will be a burnin' ball of fire
Buildings burnt down, down while the streets run wild,
As Denver burns, burns, burns...Ball of fire!

They can’t wage successful campaigns and they can’t put on a convention...but they state they can run an entire country. Yea...right.

From Wikipedia "Democratic National Convention":
(snip)
The primary goal of the Democratic National Convention is to nominate and confirm a candidate for President and Vice President, adopt a comprehensive party platform and unify the party.
(snip)
Today, the party's presidential nominee is chosen in a series of individual state caucuses and primary elections. Superdelegates, delegates whose votes are not bound to the outcome of a state's caucus or primary, may also influence the nomination. Due to the scheduling of caucuses and primary elections early in the election year, the party's presidential nominee is usually known months before the Democratic National Convention. Historically, however, the party's choice of the presidential nominee was usually not known until the last evening of the convention. The choice was an often contentious debate that riled the passions of party leaders. Delegates were forced to vote for a nominee repeatedly until someone could capture a minimum number of delegates needed.
So, the good mayor of Denver (a Dem himself, BTW) is whining that, because there is no clearcut nominee going into the convention, that the poor dears just can't raise the money needed for an event that has, in the past, been the venue for choosing said nominee? Wouldn't one think that would heighten the interest?
Oh, waaannh!

Later in the article:
“In St. Paul, Minn., the Republican host committee — which must raise $39 million — met its Dec. 15 goal of collecting 60% and expects to meet its June 15 deadline of 80%, spokeswoman Teresa McFarland said.”
