There's a new entry next to Mika Brzezinski's name in the annals of MSM elitism. The Morning Joe panelist today lamented blue-collar whites who "can't hear" the message Barack Obama propounded. Poor benighted souls. Joe Scarborough called Mika on it.
Brzezinski's comment came in response to Scarborough's exposition of why he didn't think Obama's speech would work with many blue-collar whites.

I am still not sure exactly what “the message” is - beyond left-wing economic policies and some sort of imagined “healing” of exaggerated or non-existent problems.

If Obama gets the nomination, McCain wins Pennsylvania, Ohio, and (possibly) New Jersey thanks to the votes of blue collar whites alone. If Hillary is nominated, McCain loses all of these states.
Yet still vote for Hillary because she is the "real deal."
Obama’s problem is that too many Americans DO hear his message, which is bigotry and hate.
Don't blame people for disliking the message. What's next, a KKK member for 20 years with the Grand Wizard as spiritual adviser peddling himself a a bridge builder between races?

The theme of the Obama campaign seem to be—if you don’t agree with my agenda you are 1) not smart enough to understand it, or 2) racist.
Nevermind that he is the one attending a racist church and pushing failed left-wing policies.
And if she was a Clintonite she’d be on there saying “if Hillary says on stage she ‘wants a glass of water,’ it doesn’t mean she wants a white blue-collar man to get her a glass of water. It means she wants the blue-collar man to sympathize with her thirst.”
