Eagles Up and their supporting organizations are at The National Labor College, George Meany Campus in Silver Spring, Maryland. Right now there are about 50 Troop Supporters.
ConcreteBob says while numbers are small now, that everyone knows who they are and why they are there.
No sound yet, camera is in a fixed position, but periodically moved, and pics come in every few seconds, but it is a start.

On Thursday, Troop Supporters, mostly Gathering of Eagles, were on Capitol Hill talking to and handing out the petition to NOT put any Winter Soldier II "testimony" into the congressional records, to our representatives.

If someone has a laptop, webcam, and a wireless card...they can broadcast audio and video from nearly anywhere using
Ustream.tv for free. I will be using the service to webcast our GOP gubernatorial primary debate in a couple of weeks.
It would be cool if multiple FReepers could do this...and anyone could embed the video player on their website. Imagine the possibilities of not having to depend on the Legacy Media anymore!!!

Live-blogging from inside the "event" provided by WSII skeptics John Lilyea and Thus Spake Ortner.
They are blogging away, reporting on what the various IVAW boys and girls are saying. I can't cut and paste right now - gotta get to work; but hopefully some of you guys will repost stuff here on FR for others to read and debunk as necessary.
One funny thing to report... although skeptic blogger, Thus Spake Ortner, was invited to blog the WSII, when he arrived on site, the lefties, VVAW, IVAW went ballistic and screamed for security to remove him. He had to make a call to the IVAW blogger who had invited him, and she came out and screamed at everybody for screaming at him and being insane. Read his report of that incident, here: "Welcome to WSII. Who are you with? Get the F*** off our property now! Security!".

Iraq Veteran Against War assaulted Vietnam Veteran. Apparently after being assaulted and tossed outside on the steps, the 61 year old Vietnam vet was arrested for disorderly conduct. Anyone who can find out from Monkey County PD what's up with that?
