By the end of this decade or shortly thereafter, television networks as we know them today will cease to exist. They will be just another url on the world wide web competing against millions of others.
Network evening newscasts will go dark after the '08 elections and their news divisions disbanded.

Scarborough is rarely on ‘his” show anymore...No doubt it’s name will soon be changed to ‘Menstruings with Mika’

Notice the key phrase in this article.
"Sources say the network is going to beef up its schedule with more NBC News talent." That tells me that NBC News will eventually migrate completely to MSNBC.
Presto, NBC News will be no more. They won't describe it that way, but the effect will be the same.

Tucker Carlson and Joe Scarborough are both gelded lisping lib-lovers who will never draw a significant conservative audience (I tried watching both for a short while and gave up in disgust) — yet they will not draw much of a lib audience either, so their ratings are permanently in the tank. No loss if Scarborough goes next....

LOL... love that cartoon! Looks like the bumper stickers I see here in Connecticut, usually on old junky cars and (oddly) brand-new Subarus...

The situation with Tucker is that he isn’t very good at what he does and that is being generous. The only personalities left on the network are there because they couldn’t get a job anywhere else. Maybe Tucker will go back to PBS with his Republican lite style and goofy bow tie. I can’t think of one thing this guy has added to the political discourse. He is the Republican they bring in when they want an easy kill.

You are right about that. They are exactly the kind of Republicans that liberals want. Republicans with no teeth and no balls.
