Warming kooks are welcome to come get a little of my 9 degrees and 1 1/2 feet of snow here in Ohio.......
It wasn’t much colder, if at all. It was wetter. At least we’re not hearing the usual whining and lies about drought.
That’s a good one!
I think we’ll watch “The Day After Tomorrow” again for laughs. Lefty says that the global warming is supposed to lead to another ice age (I wish).
Up here in the “Pacific Northwest” (Vancouver, B.C.) we’re having one of the mildest winters in years too. Early spring, daffodils just coming out now, not a whole lot of rain this winter.
I feel for everyone in eastern Canada / US. But I seem to remember big snows being a regular occurrence in the ‘70s when I was growing up there.
That picture was from last winter in New York state when they got 11 or 12 feet of snow.
And with the dang flu / colds going around, that cold air is NOT very sore-throat friendly.
Cheers!
I was in Houston last April. Went to an Astros game heading home from Padre. It was probably 62 degrees. My kids and I were in shorts and T-shirts, while the locals shivered in jackets. You guys are really wimpy when it comes to cold.
That would be rough in New York State, with the humidity and low daily temperature variations. It’s much easier in drier/higher parts of the West.
I don’t know if it causes any of that stuff but I can tell you it is alot warmer now than it was a month ago and they are saying that in a couple of months it is going to be even warmer, I think there really is something to all of this!
They’re predicting temperatures 60 degrees warmer within the next couple of months.

DailyTech reports:
All four major global temperature tracking outlets (Hadley, NASAs GISS, UAH, RSS) have released updated data. All show that over the past year, global temperatures have dropped precipitously.
Meteorologist Anthony Watts compiled the results of all the sources. The total amount of cooling ranges from 0.65C up to 0.75Ca value large enough to erase nearly all the global warming recorded over the past 100 years. All in one year time. For all sources, its the single fastest temperature change ever recorded, either up or down.

Frozen birdbaths here in Sedona, AZ!
It snowed in Atlanta this morning. And it snowed in Dallas last week.
I wonder what scheme the anarchists and Euro-socialists will come up with next to try to con hard-working traditional American families (”Republicans”) out of their money? They tried “global cooling” in the ‘70s and ‘80s and that failed and then they tried “global warming” in the ‘90s and ‘00s and that, too, failed (despite an embarrassing last-ditch effort to change the name to “climate change”).
I wonder what those sick scumbags will dream up next?
at this rate I am confident that by about 1-1-09 it will be too hot to sustain life here, I am thinking about moving north but I don’t know how much it will help if we don’t decrease our co2 emissions, time is short I must go pack the prius
And here in Alabama. Good thing I had bread and milk, or we could have starved!
Snowed in? ;-)
Stop global normalcy now.
