at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me,... it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second.

There's your first mistake. Should have gone to a conservative college where they would treat you like a person, not their 'project'.

I based my definition on the premise that there is a distinctive black culture very different from white culture.

Is this genetic or a matter of choice? Do you HAVE to be in the 'black culture' or will other blacks allow you to be in the 'white culture'? Is the black culture better? If not, why would you want it? If yes, why are you and BHO trying to lead the culture that is inferior and that you don't want to be part of? And why would whites want that?

Easier said than done. It is rare for a college not to be liberal, much less conservative.
