Why wasn't she found out when arrested in 2006 for driving without a license? A simple call to ICE would have likely confirmed her illegal status and resulted in her deportation. What about her employers, didn't they check her alien status? Had that been done four young kids might still be alive.
This is a perfect example why we need to not only fence our borders, but get tough with employers hiring illegals and cut off Federal funding to any local units of government who fail to report illegals stopped for other offenses.
