Not paying Peter does not make Paul rich. Not voting in the general is just that--not voting. It is NOT voting for someone else. SHeesh!
Perfect candidate? How about one of my top three? four? five? Uh-uh. Not this time.
Our vote is not for us only, it is for our country and we must make the best vote
Studying the results of past compromises, namely the inexorable shift of the Republican Party to the left, and the stripping of key issues from the platform, the result of voting for the lesser evil all this time has been, unsurprisingly, evil. Just at a slower pace. Only the refusal to continue tacit support to this process has a prayer of reversing it. Thus, I may well vote for "none of the above", in the interest of my country. Voting for a candidate who only embraces 20% of what I consider to be proper stances on salient issues is not a winning proposition for me, nor, I feel for may country.
We need everyone to get out and vote. We need the highest GOP turnout in history.
For a year on this forum and elsewhere, Conservatives have been telling anyone who would listen that they would not vote for a liberal. Y'all wouldn't want us to lie, now, would you?
Of course it is. I and my wife vote for Bush. Bush wins by one vote. We don't vote, Bush loses by one vote to Gore. Not voting resulted a Gore win, same result as if we had voted for him.
So you are going to let a person who embraces 0% of the proper stances win by not voting or voting for a person who is going to lose? As far as lying about your vote, aren't you allowed to change your mind?
Wow! What you said x10!!!
