She is speaking of her father, "We have to do what's best for the country, and it is not good for the country to have this kind of divisiveness. And he was on the phone, really calling off the dogs. There were people who wanted to fan the ... the flames of the racial issue and have real unrest. And he was on the phone asking them not to, because of what was best for the country not because of what was best for him politically. And that's really who he is. [end excerpt, my emphasis]
I expected the race riots and wondered where were they. The left knew that the media would go after Bush to stop the violence and answer the "will of the people" (so often repeated by the MSM). Gore would be the President.
It will take just a little bit longer for thousands of said rebates to reach his bank account.
The rebates will pass through our hands as we purchase goods and services from enterprises that he owns (at least in part).
Then it will be up to him to spend his extra millions to keep Americans employed. :)
Trickle down, yeah.. but it don't stay on the bottom for long.
It should have been spread out and made a permanent tax cut with reduced withholdings.
