Some wise parents don’t ever put their kids in the public school in the first place. Mine never did, so I’m not sure if they ever “missed” her. She was never there for them to count in the first place. If you don’t show up for kindergarten, you were never in their system to “pull out” from.
Besides, I really doubt that the reporting of the numbers of kids in school vs homeschoolers is accurate. Kind of like the inflation numbers of our economy, they only tell us what they would like us to believe.
Homeschool numbers:
I don’t believe them either. It’s been 2 million now since 2003, yet homeschooling is supposedly growing a 7 to 15% a year. Go figure! (literally)
