In the meantime, let’s all pray for the good health and continued service of Justices Alito, Roberts, Thomas, and Scalia. The next president will almost certainly get to replace Stevens and Ginsburg as father time and health issues take their toll on those two.

Stevens IS Father Time. At 87, he is the second oldest justice in Supreme Court history, and it seems he is not quitting soon. He may stay on the Court until he is as old as Strom Thurmond when he completed his last term in the Senate.
