I did attend the CPAC conference and it was great. But the energy somewhat dissipated after Romney's speech. The woman next to me when were at the speech; ask did he just quit? I said yes, she was in shock as so many were. The media was trying to get attendee’s impressions. The worst was a Fox news interviewed which was trying to go for the pathos. Thankfully I did not give that emotion they were seeking when I was interviewed.
But it was great with Cheney, Romney, Mccain, Ron Paul, Bush and then Huckabee. One location and they all came to us.

Thanks for the update!
I’ve been thinking about CPAC since I heard Ronald Reagan addressed CPAC in 1975.
Ann Coulter hasn’t swayed me yet but I’m beginning to understand why we need a “Carter” in order to get a “Reagan”.
Sad as that is.

Gee, is that why he got wild cheers and standing ovations at the CPAC conference? The guy at the head of American Conservative Union was there too, welcoming him in too!
Gosh, I guess the ACU isn’t what they’re supposed to be. Or could it be that Pres. Bush is more conservative than he gets credit for on here?

President Bush being for bigger government (including, but not limited to, creating another entitlement program that helps give senior citizens prescription drugs), out of control government spending along with too many Republicans in Congress prior to the Democrats taking over Congress, and being for amnesty for illegal immigrants isn’t truly being conservative no matter how much people like or hate President George W. Bush.
