West Virginia will deserve the screwed up economy which McCain , Hillary , or Obama will bring us all. I’m not sending any money in that direction to help out. They can live with the mess their votes will bring upon us.

I am sending the Tribune-Review a bill for my lunch.
After reading that story I threw up.

I have been voting for over 40 years and I have never seen so many voting shenanigans in the Republican Party as in this election.

This just reinforces my decision not to vote for McQueeg if he should be the nominee. Now after this debacle that goes for the Huckster just in case in should be the nominee.

One step closer to McCain for the nominee.

Simply. Unbelievable.

Still a loooooong shot for Huckabee being the nominee. West Virginia has a small population and is not very influential (for good or bad).

McCain gave Huckabee his votes so he would pass Romney.

Huckabee is McCain’s b*#ch.

So...what happened? I thought Mitt won.

The person who posted did not understand the rules of the WV caucus.

Romney won the first round of voting with 41%. However, in WV, you must win at least 50% of the vote to get the delegates.

So, in the second round of voting, McLame supporters threw their support to Huckster in order to beat Romney.

Perfectly legal even though it looks (and is) collusion. Just something I would expect from liberals.

OK, so here is the CNN story http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/02/05/super.main/index.html

Apparantly, Romney did win, but did not get 50%, so it went to a 2nd ballot and all the McCainiacs went to Huckabee.

The former Arkansas governor won with the support of 52 percent of the state’s GOP convention delegates on the second round of balloting. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney came in second with 47 percent of the vote, and Sen. John McCain was backed by 1 percent of the delegates.

It is now official ... Huckabee is the stalking horse for John McCain.

"it was a hit against McCain who lost all support on the second go 'round."

Actually it was not a hit on McCain. McCain was not going to win WV, he directed his supporters to go for Huck to deny Romney the win.

Romney took the hit. Huck served his purposes.
