Here's the deal. On XM channel 158 from 6am until 9am with the first hour repeated from 9am to 10am, talk show host Jim Quinn of the Quinn & Rose show was discussing something potentially damaging to Hillary Clinton at around 6:25am and his show was interrupted by an emergency broadcast system alert.
After finding this out from emails and phone calls from his listeners, Quinn was suspicious and posed a challenge to his listener. He said since the first hour is repeated from 9am to 10am he wanted his listeners to listen in and see if the same EBS alert was broadcast. Since the EBS is totally separate from his radio broadcast it wouldn't be broadcast a second time in a single day.
He also issued a challenge to XM saying he had a bombshell he was going to broadcast at exactly 7:35am. It was about Senator John McCain and it was really damaging. He said to XM, that if they really wanted to censor him they should do so at 7:35am.
All during the 7 o'clock first half hour everything was just fine. All during the bottom of the hour break everything was fine. But at exactly 7:35am XM cut his radio show. From 7:35am to 7:41am the signal was cut. Whether or not this was actual censorship it really is an astonishing coincidence.
Has anybody else experienced this?
Tune in at 8:35am. He’s going to broadcast it again.
Quinn is a master paranoid. This is coincidence. (Or something he contrived).Quinn isn't all that paranoid. I hope it's a coincidence.
JIm and Rose have about 9 months to repeat it.
Are we talking about Jim Quinn? The face you find when you look up "Conspiracy Theory" in a dictionary?
Of course he is all that paranoid.
The McCain piece is coming through now on streaming WPGB-FM
Fairness Doctrine Ping!!!
It was only XM’s technical difficulties that raised suspicions.
My bad.
I have heard it sever time between 6:25 and 6:30. They have cut to the news early or ran the emergency test over subjects of great interest. This is real.
If you don’t have XM and you are listening don’t be so stupid.
XM is in control of what has been happening, not Quinn.
Censorship can happen on any broadcast media, not just XM. I would tend to think this is a DJ (who is also a conspiracy nut) that is pulling a fast one on his listeners. Radio jocks do this sort of thing all the time.
Boortz had a great one about 15 years ago where he did a "live" broadcast from a skydiving center outside Atlanta where they were supposedly holding the "skydiving cat chasing championships". The idea was that they take up a bagful of cats, throw them out of the airplane and the skydivers try to catch them on the way down. A LOT of folks thought it was real. Even the local Humane Society got their panties in a wad......
Then, there was the time that he said, on April Fools day no less, that the Atlanta water system was laced with the deadly chemical "dihydromonoxide" (H2O). The head of the Atlanta water system even called his show claiming there was absolutely no dihydromonoxide in the Atlanta water system......that one was a riot!
Again it was all weather related unless you want to believe God is on McCain’s side and created the storm that knocked out that segment.
“... radio host’s” what?
Quinn said, in response to a caller after the EBS test, that he doubted it was intentional, but suggested listening to the first hour repeat on XM as a test to see if it was intentional.
No, again do not speculate. You did not hear it. I did.
It also has happen on Coast to Coast AM when the subject is the North American Highway at least twice.
oh the humanity.
Wait - that was actually real....
That’s been de-bunked. Other POW’s were aware of McCain’s presence the entire time, he was imprisoned. There’s enough in the immigration issue, that if people knew what McCain’s real position was, he’d be toast as he was last summer. Now, among Republican voters polled, 47% trust McCain on immigration, while Romney and Huckabee score in the 20’s or lower. Isanity.
