He’s not the anti-conservative John McCain. That’s why will vote Romney.

Romney can’t be trusted on anything. He is putting out ads now attacking McCain for voting against the prescription drug benefit (huge giveaway) . . . which is not fiscally conservative at all. Romney will go big government if he thinks it helps his reelection.

Bruce Walker is wrong! He left out a big broo ha ha regarding Romney, brought up strategically by Julieannie in one of those many, boring debates. That, Mr. Walker, was the personally embarrassing fact that he kept a subcontractor and that subcontractor’s illegal alien workers on his mansion property, instead of firing the subcontractor the moment he found out he was hiring illegals. Julieannie called it “Sanctuary Mansion”, but too bad for Julieannie, it didn’t translate into votes for him! How Mr. Walker could not mention this as a “supreme embarrassment” for Romney, and one that definitely cost him conservative votes is beyond me.

I do not see any of the following words in this fluff piece

Gun Control
Amnesty
Immigration

Looks like three strikes to me.

Mitt Romney is not a conservative.

Yes, he’s better than McCain... but so what? That does not make him a good candidate.

A principled conservative has no candidate in this fight. Many conservatives will not vote for president in 2008, mark my words.

Romney is the master of identity politics. Remember, this is the guy who said he was more pro-gay and pro-abortion than his Democrat opponents, including Ted Kennedy.

Lets not forget the guy is a gun grabber.

Amazing how conservative publications and broadcasters seem to ignore the matter.

It is equally as telling when you have to ask why NOT about one’s candidate.

The guy is a slimey RINO who plays the same game as Huckabee, except he is more refined at it.

Yes, he is – or at least Mitt is as much a fiscal conservative as America will get”

Romney promised Michigan millions to bail them out...

“He believes Roe v. Wade should be overturned”

He declared in 1994 and 2002 that he would not change the abortion laws

“Assuming that all the candidates want to defend America, it seems sensible that the candidate who is the best executive would do the best job.”

If someone is shooting at the troops, an office boy cant help them...

“Mitt Romney is handsome, impeccably dressed”

Yes well this is a presidential election, not a beauty pageant...His looks and the fact that he is a snappy dresser has not bearing on how he will lead govern our country...Narcissism wont impress our enemies...Nobody is wary of a dandy..

“always prepared with a good answer to a question”

Ahhhhhhhhhh Nope he waffles and does not give a straight answer or Yes or No He procedes to give a lecture on anything but the subject asked...

“Romney can plausibly say that he is not part of the “mess in Washington.””

Worse ...Romney is part of the mess in Mass...Universal Health Care...Fines for lack of health insurance, $50 abortions...

Thank me

It is easy to be a social conservative in Arkansas – everyone agrees with you – but it is incomparably harder to be a social conservative in the only state that George McGovern carried.

I am so tired of this bass ackwards thinking. If Romney were a Conservative, he would not have been a governor in Massachusetts. They would have never voted him in.

If Romney were a Conservative and a governor of a Conservative state, like maybe.... Oh, I don't know.... Maybe Utah... He would not have any problems wooing the base.

Romney is no Conservative.
Romney is a liberal RINO.

I’ll vote for Romney if he’s the GOP nominee.

In fact, I’ll vote for the GOP nominee because they’re the GOP nominee.
