Hillary Clinton Brilliant? New York Times, Cut the Crap!
North Star Writers Group ^ | January 28, 2008 | Herman Cain

If someone is going to vote for Hillary Clinton because she is a woman, then so be it. If someone is going to vote for Barack Obama because he is black, then so be it. But for the New York Times to endorse Hillary Clinton because they consider her “brilliant”, and in possession of “powerful intellect,” is a real fairy tale.

Give me a break, please!

It is no surprise that the Times endorsed the most liberal Democrat and the most liberal Republican of the presidential contenders – Hillary Clinton and John McCain. But to try to justify their predisposition toward Hillary with empty assessments of her is worse than the empty political rhetoric she uses to disguise her real lack of intellect, bad ideas and huge lack of experience.

Anyone knows that the Democrat candidates, including former candidates Dennis Kucinich and Chris Dodd, are each smarter than any of the Republican candidates — according to THE new york times and AP.

She is so vile that her vile husband has to actually campaign in her stead. I wonder how long she can remain in the shadows while her husband runs around doing Meet the Press for her. The only brilliance is in the tactic of keeping her once again out of the way of direct criticism. Let Bill take the arrows for dirty politics while Hillary says “oh he goes to far sometimes because he loves me”

How did she rank in her class. Did she outscore Comrade Kerry? Did she do anything outstanding?

"Hillary" is to "brilliant" as "Bill" is to "classy".

How any liberal could call her current strategy of pissing off all their minority voters "brilliant" boggles the mind. It sure is fun to watch, though.

Seems to me the Democrats have a variety of tribes: the white boy’s tribe, the black boy’s tribe, the black girl’s tribe, the white girl’s tribe, the angry black or white girl’s tribe. They are not getting along right now. None of these tribes give a hoot about what their candidate wants to do with (to) the Country. In fact, they don’t even know what they stand for. And we complain about the Sunnis, Shia and Kurds!

Of course the Dems are smarter. Everybody knows that the DEFINITION of smartness is "the degree to which the person agrees with the Left Wing agenda"

Aye. The NY Times defines being “brilliant” and ethical as possessing power useful for the Left.

Thus, KKK Senator Byrd is “brilliant” and ethical.

I don’t get it. If Evita is THAT brilliant, she would have realized LONG AGO that she can much more done for good OUTSIDE politics than in!

Besides, how brilliant can a woman be if she is married to the Joey Buttafuco of American politics...and stays married to him after the kind and amount of public scandal he involved himself in????

Admit it, it has nothing to do with ‘doing good’ for anyone at all and has nothing to do with serving America... it’s all about POWER and there has never been in all history ANY immediate and absolute connection between lust for power and intellect. NEVER! Lust for and acquisition of power is probably more associated with infantilism, emotional/psychological pathology and intellectual deficiency than with intellect!

Just don’t ask her yes or no questions at a debate or ask her about NAFTA.

I think this article is a little too hard on her. Grifting is an acquired skill and she acquired it from the master. The Clintons are without question the greatest political grifters of their generation although it must be said that their generation contains an unusually high percentage of dupes.

You can’t ask her about her 1994 felony violation of the federal Open Meetings Act with Ira Magaziner.

You can’t ask her to name who she would install into her Administration.

You can’t ask her to explain felon Sandy Berger on her ‘08 campaign payroll.

You can’t ask her if she’s talked to Harold Ickes this week.

You can’t ask her to explain her husband’s 1999 bombing of Serbia.

You can’t ask her to explain her involvement at the Branch Davidian compound in 1993 near Waco.
