I can’t stand McCain. He is a liar and would say anything if he thought it would get him elected. He is worse than a democrap.
I didn't know that. Did you know that? Does anybody out there recognize and applaud that John Kerry served in Vietnam?? I'd heard that Kerry was an ace Snowboarder, full gale force Windssurfer, and even gots hisselfs a Huntin' License !!!
What a magnificent American !
/sarc off
Listen, when I got out of the Army in 1973 and was looking for work in Massachussetts, I felt compelled TO LEAVE OFF my military service from my resume. I was not alone. The prejudice against the troops was that strong. The "baby-killing" epithets at the time (particularly in places in the Northeast) were primarily the responsibility of two anti-American showboating celebrities: Jane Fonda and John Kerry.
Kerry did everything he could to legitimize this slander in the early 1970's. Go read up on the "war crimes trial" he was a central participant of in Michigan in 1972-1973. "Disgusting" is the only appropriate description of his activity.
One thing I did not like about the Swift Boat deal, was that they ignored this aspect of his "career."
You don’t understand that it is ok to post all kinds of old news about Romney but you can’t do that when it come to McCain...I saw your first comment when you mentioned oldie but goodie...I also read the date of the article. Thanks for posting....
Yes he was...it is a "good ole boys" club and you know it. McCain is a RINO...he has trashed conservatives every chance he gets. It is time for term limits.
Thanks for the reminder with this historic post.
ANY person who refers to the traitor John F’in Kerry as “his dear friend” is NO friend of America, is NO friend of our Constitution, and is NO friend of *MINE* !!!
And that means that John McCain can chase me to his oft-cited ‘Gates of Hell Itself’ but he won’t get my vote, not now, not ever!
I put the actual date in the date field, and I pointed out that it was old in the first comment.
Pay no attention- I’m just having a GRUMPY day..really wishing Fred hadn’t dropped out:)
LOL...that was a classic! It was the height of absurdity...a blue-blood Northeasterner like Kerry, saying "Can I get me a hunting license here?"
No problem. I understand what you’re saying, and I thought about putting “2004” in the title, but I figured that my comment would be good enough.
I’m glad you posted this because even if it’s “old news” it’s important to current news.
I remember during the GOP Convention in ‘04 McCain was in the audience and a reporter asked him a question and he responded that he thought John Kerry would make a good president.
There is some strange connnection between McCain and Kerry, and that alone should frighten anyone voting GOP.
I’m not saying that Kerry has a good record; in fact, I believe quite the opposite and supported the swift boat veterans whole-heartedly. However, in terms of the candidates or other politicians becoming involved in smear campaigns I believe that McCain made the right choice.
I apologize, you’re right. McCain has been on the wrong side of the Iraq War this entire time and his rhetoric towards Iran and other threats to American national security lead me to believe that he would take our foreign policy in the wrong direction. /s
