Peggy Noonan has a point.
But Rush is NO phony.
I think Rush made a mistake. He is human. He gave George W. Bush a too many passes when George W. Bush behaved like a RINO.
Rush will never make that mistake again. After some time passes, Rush will be wiser, stronger, and vindicated.
Rush will never give another Republican free passes like he gave GWB.
Rush is not going to let any one, especially not McCain, pretend to be as Conservative as Rush on issues when they clearly are not.
So you want Rush to give McCain the same pass that he gave to GWB?
Rush is making a wise choice not to do that.
Why try to reason with someone who could care less what you say?
There is a HUGE difference between hammering McCain now, during the primary season and giving Bush a pass during his race against John Kerry, don’t you think?
