My condolences to all the Fredheads here. It was just not meant to be.

Don’t cry in your beer.

The Huckabee candidacy showed that a good % of Evangelicals are with the Republicans strictly for social conservatism, not economic (small government) conservatism. This makes them ripe to be picked up by the Dems if they were less loud about being anti-religion and anti-Christian values. Too bad we don’t teach Economics well enough in this country. The logical result of socialism is not pretty - look at the real life examples around the world. Capitalism may seem heartless at the individual level, but coupled with private charity, is the most compassionate system around in terms of results.

In before the Troikabots start whining that anyone to principled to vote for their interchangeable liberals will be responsible for Hillary/Obama/armageddon.

Your tagline is the kiss of death. Maybe you should put Rudy, McCain and Hillary in there.

He ain’t no Reagan republican then.

He may be a good man, but in my opinion, that was a half baked attempt from the beginning.

I got e-mail asking for more money this morning . I guess he needs to replace those Guccis he wore out pounding the campaign trail so hard . If he even says the name McCain , I will forbid the watching of his TV show by all those in my command . Cisco the chihuahua loves that”DA DUM”.

I blame The early States for tilting the vote and allowing Independents.

Also, the Repubs have a tendancy to going too far to the Left, until a Right Wing Independent stands, keeps them out of office for a few terms, and the Repubs choose another Reagan.

A sad day indeed. Now there are no conservatives left in the race.

We’re done. Conservatives are now without a candidate—and possibly a country.

Just damn.

Oh well, I guess I should look at the bright side -- I am now completely free of politics for the next 8 months.

No need to vote in the primary Feb 5 as I could care less which RINO moron wins.

Dpending on the nominee I might cast a vote AGAINST Hitlery or Osama in November, but I am free of the campaign now. No canvassing, no calls, no donations, no help what-so-ever. The dumbarse Moderate RINO's want a wishy-washy candidate, they can help him.

What is left of the Republican party better get on thier knees now and start praying that there is not a conservative choice on a third party ticket.

Bye Bye Republican party, don't let the door hit ya in your brains on the way out.

If you think for one minute that the left overs will help you then you are in for a surprise. See GW Bush record.

Thanks for all the pings, Politicalmom.

We had a good candidate, we did what we could, it didn’t work out.

May God bless America.

It needs to be said again...

Today marks the end of an era and the beginning of the end for the Republican Party of Reagan. It will have to be rebuilt brick by brick. To paraphrase Reagan, “It’s mourning in America”.
