I don’t know what to say to you, Fred’s candidacy was about Fred the candidate. If you were pinning your hopes on him to “save the country”, then I don’t think you’re seeing Fred the candidate in reality, but some idealized savior version of Fred in your own mind.

I had high hopes for him, but he did not turn out to be a great campaigner that was needed to win. And if he couldn’t run a good campaign in the Republican primary, I doubt he could have ran one in the general election either. That’s what primaries are, a qualifying round that weeds out the flawed candidates. Unfortunately, Fred was a flawed candidate despite being right on most issues.

No, it’s about Fred’s belief in limited government, which no one else shares. The others believe man-made global warming!! Talk about U.N. plans to control people!Bob
