John McCain is no traitor. He has served his country with honor and distinction.

For all of you up in arms over McCain’s stance on the illegal immigration issue, here’s a question. If GW Bush were up for re-election right now, would you vote for him? Keep in mind, he was leading the charge on immigration reform, just like McCain.

You might not agree with McCain on everything, but never call him a traitor!

I wouln’t go so far as call him a traitor - but no one can deny he has been an OBSTICAL. Standing in the way of the GOP platform lock arm with Democrats every chance he could.

No, I won’t call McCain a traitor. But he has pissed me off so many times that I can’t hardly stand to look at the man. And that’s a fact.

John carried water for real traitor Kerry in 2004. Even did a VP dance for a few weeks. Enough for me. Bob

John McCain is a traitor to conservatives and Republicans, not just on immigration but on many other issues. I am sorry if that is harsh but it is true. He has backstabbed other Republicans and conservatives. His honorable service to this country many years ago has been a great prop for his many political campaigns but lately it has been in the service of an agenda that is wrong for America. Every year, McCain gets worse and worse.

I have no intention of voting for G W Bush again. still Bush is more conservative than the RINO McCain on GWOT, on life issues, on judges, on environment, and on taxes. They are both equally horrible on immigration. Just as it is an easy choice for conservatives to pick Romney over McCain, it is an easy choice for conservatives to pick Bush over McCain.

I agree, and although I don’t care too much for McCain, until 2012 this race has become what candidate will do the least amount of damage to our country.

ALL things considered, that might be debatable, but at least he wouldn’t irresponsibly destroy our military and leave an ugly vacuum to be filled by al-qaeda, Iran, Russia, etc. by leaving Iraq on the verge of victory either!

If Shrillary wins the hypocrat nomination, you have to ask yourself, 4 or even 8 more years of the Klintoon’s means less to you than not voting for a RINO?

Wouldn’t call McCain a “traitor”.

Wouldn’t vote for him either.

(Nor would I vote for GW Bush after his participation in the illegal immigration cabal last summer.)

MY only problem with john McCain is that HE CANNOT DEFEAT HILLARY, or even Obama..

He is going to be portrayed as an angry and vengeful, gay-hating man, dangerous to all the peace-loving people’s of the world.

Everything he’s been involved in from the Keating Five, to illegitimate children, to immigration is going to be used against him by the Shadow Party groups on the left.

The Democrats are SALIVATING to run against him...

And he CANNOT bring our folks together.

If GW Bush were up for re-election right now

If you're talking about re-seeking the nomination, then absolutely not.

And I still call McCain a traitor, not just because of his support for foreign invasion of our land, but also for his
socialist tax policies,
subversion of judge appointments,
denial of Americans their freedom of speech via CFR,
providing comfort to the enemy by his public denunciation of Camp Delta at Guantanamo Bay and statements regarding water bordeing as torture,
his support for the destruction of our economy by his attempts to 'global warming', among other issues.
