Carl Cameron says it'll become offical sometime later this week.
Oh well, we're doomed. Let's hope it'll be minimal damage until 2012.
Good enough for me
It gonna get ugly ‘round here (lol)
No thanks.
PING for common sense!
Romney it is. I’ll eat a catbox crunchie before voting for McCain or Huckabee.
My retort wasn’t supposed to have substance, it was entirely inspired by you :^D
There was a ballot. There was no show of hands.
Mitt was my number two choice, so he has my support.
But I will not be donating any money to candidates or the RNC. I, like some other people on this site, feel abandoned by the Republican party.
Vote your candidate is the name of the game. Wish your candidate would have done better...maybe 2012?
yep.
Yep, amen. Sad to say. Really disheartening to see all these supposed conservative freepers voting for liberal socialists just because they happen to have an R after their surname.
Duncan’s out, he was my choice too and somehow I doubt he would recommend you vote hypocrat!
The only bad part is that one of these seven turkeys is actually going to win.
What a girly-man! I never got the whole mad love for Fred T anyhow; guy gets into the race mid-way, runs half-way, quits early on - hardly even bothered to show up, for pete’s sake! And yeah, he talked a good game - but if talk was all there is to it, I know a lot of good talkers. Fred let down his supporters, let’s move on. And on the whole, even though I don’t agree with half of what he says, I’d rather have MCC than Romney. At least I know what I’m getting, not another well-groomed windsock.
Thanks for the note earlier...will check it out. Was wanting to see how the dust was settling with today’s news.
That's a really poor reason to vote for anyone, let alone Paul.
A brokered convention would mean a fractured party until the Fall, with only 60 days after to the General Election. No funds could be raised until then. And, according to McCain Feingold, much advocacy advertising would be illegal for the entire 60 days before the election.
Meanwhile, the Dems will probably have been settled on a candidate by May at the latest. That means 6 months of ads which the Republicans cannot effectively reply to.
lol......there’s “no rush.” I’m not planning to go anywhere...yet.
: )
If Mitt wins Florida, you are going to see McCain collapse very quickly.
He doesn't have the support of the Republican Party base and his wins were due to independents, not Republicans.
He thinks he has this locked up due to his win in S.Carolina, but that win was not due to Republican conservative support, and he is going to find that out.
When he doesn't win, he is going to be a very bitter man!
Hey. his L&O repeats are on again! Now that’ he’s no longer a candidate, they can be broadcast.
