“If McCain gets the nomination, I don’t know what I’ll do,” DeLay said at the Capitol Hill Club, according to a source in the room. “I might have to sit this one out.”

“sometimes you have to have another Carter before the next Reagan steps forward.”
Yep.
I will not support a RINO.
So a lot of Republicans are going to go Palestianian on us and commit suicide because of their irrantional hatred of McCain. How nice!
You really have to question the motives of people who would rather have Hillary in power, IN A TIME OF WAR, with our troops fully deployed. What a wonderful sentiment.
Delay just has sour grapes, he got kicked out of his job and is acting like a sore loser. His last accomplishment was giving us Democratic majorities! Good job man!
Considering that McCain will get me similar justices, I’m boxed into a corner. Assuming he gets the nom.
Hello gang of 14. He’s made his position on judges extremely clear, and I chose to listen to him when he made his point that he’s not interested in conservative judges.
Thankfully, I load my own and my weapons are largely purchased privately.
Same here! Glad to know Tom thinks like the rest of us.
can’t......he has already got the snowbird ,independent vote here...............the republican party of late in Arizona couldn’t pour milk outta a hat .
JD Hayworth lost his election just like Matt Salmon did by sittin on his fat ass and assuming........
Hillary will govern like Bill.
Like Bill or Romney, she has no core beliefs. Knowing she has the left, she will govern toward the right.
They were talking about this earlier on CNN and they said they were not buying those threats. That when the time comes even hardcore conservatives will vote for McCain while holding their nose rather than to allow Hillary or Obama to be elected.
I could hold my nose and vote for any of the candidates running (well, I still haven’t decided about Huck), but under no circumstances will I vote for McCain.
I will not support a RINO either.
—————and commit suicide because of their irrantional hatred of McCain. How nice!-————
There’s nothing irrational about it. The hatred of McCain is based almost entirely upon the things he votes for and supports.
Other than Iraq, he’s a liberal.
The dirty little secret is that the D won’t pull us out of Iraq. They want a defeat wrapped around Bush’s neck, but they wouldn’t do that to themselves. Any fool can see that that’s political suicide, and the D would be foolish to do so.
Come one man.
1) Everybody has a POS Senator
2) Everybody thinks THEIR Senators are great
3) Everybody thinks EVERYONE ELSEs Senator is scum
There are naturally, exception.
I do need to figure out how to write Fred Thompson in, since we have electronic ballots.
I will heartily agree with Tom DeLay to also sit it out.
That’s what Delay has been reduced to today, he’s a lobbyist? lol!
Rush as all but said the same thing. And many on this forum are in the mix as well. Still bet the GOP won’t get the message. And actually, I don’t really care any longer!
You know, for years I’ve always told people that sitting out an election or voting third party is one of the worst things they can do. Now I’m looking at my choices, or who I think will be my choices, and honestly, I’m not sure what else I CAN do. This is one sad election.
Trust me, I will. Romney, I feel, is the strongest candidate in the GOP field for many reasons.
