The Fred rocket didn’t crash, it never ignited in the first place. I would have liked him to catch on but he didn’t. Self-denial about his failure won’t change the state of affairs.

The MSM knows he has conservative beliefs.

So I showed the MSM that I support those conservative beliefs by sending Thompson a second contribution in the last 2 hours.

Whether or not he withdraws from the race, I had a wonderful opportunity to stand up and "speak out" unequivocally for what I believe in.

it sure feels good to live in a country where I can freely "speak out" about my political beliefs.

You can come up with all the glib analogies you want, BUT:

Fred Thompson is alive and well, and he CAN win the Presidency.

What I don’t like is pointless naysaying and negativity. This is our Ship of State we are trying to right, not the Good Ship Lollypop. This is serious business, and I welcome you to help out or get out.

The only one who has run a worse campaign that Fred this season is Rudy. They are both duds. In Rudy’s case, the wound was self-inflicted; he should have fired his campaign mis-manager long ago. In Fred’s case, he just lacked the fire in the belly. He was incredibly wooden for someone who is an actor—perhaps he needed his director around to tell him what to do.

Coming from a McCain supporter whos man was dead in the water until just recently this is laughable.

Apparently you weren't paying attention when Fred first got in the race and was leading everyone.

This is not over yet and McCain is unelectable.

He is not a conservative and will turn off so much of the base that whoever is the DEM candidate will have a cake-walk.

The MSM will have a field day with his RHINO past and cut him into ribbons and increase the percentage of conservative GOPer's who either will not vote for him or be totally uninterested.

McCain is a recipe for GOP disaster!
