Question: "Where are all the ‘we’ll return the favor for Fred’ Romney people now?"

Response: If Fred was a few points behind McCain, then yes, we probably would be motivated to do that. And BTW, why did Fred have to say Romney misled voters in Michigan?

For all the Fred fans out there in case your reading-between-the-line-skills are a little rusty, you're being told to forget it. The "Fred can't win" and "Fred was mean to Mitt" statements are just excuses to provide cover for breaking an informal agreement they never intended to keep in the first place.

Trusting Romney or his Sleaze Machine is a fundamentally flawed act of naivete.
